Having difficulty getting your ESL, EFL, or ELL students to speak the target language? Here are some classroom phrases that have helped me whilst teaching Italian kids.

Included in this file are three different handouts to choose from that your students can keep on their desks, ready for when they need to ask a question. Two are from English to Italian with the phrases phonetically translated to help with the pronunciation, and one from Italian to English without the phonetic spelling.

There are also the classroom phrases in speech bubbles, one set in English and another in Italian. These can be used as part of your classroom display.
